DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING SIGNAL QUALITY OF MOBILE INTERNET SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring signal quality of mobile Internet systems which enable efficient cell planning of mobile Internet systems.

SOLUTION: The device for measuring signal quality of a mobile Internet system comprises: a mobile Internet signal receiving part for receiving a mobile Internet signal from each base station; a preamble code correlation part for detecting preamble codes for the number of base stations which request signal quality measurement from the mobile Internet signal; a channel compensation/demodulation part for acquiring information between an FCH zone and a DL-MAP zone referring to preamble codes detected by the preamble code correlation part and demodulating information on a peculiar number to each base station; and a control part for collecting and processing signal quality for information on a peculiar number to each base station demodulated by the channel compensation/demodulation part and preamble codes detected by the preamble code correlation part.
