<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: technology for a display apparatus which can be rotated with a slight force while keeping a distance between a display unit and viewer's head axis nearly constant and always turning the display screen to the viewer is disclosed, but, it is necessary for the display apparatus to use a balancer to negate the rotational moment by gravity of the display unit on the side opposite to the display unit related to the rotating axis, and also, it is necessary to make the balancer large in mass in order to attain the miniaturization of the display apparatus, the display apparatus is increased in mass as a result, then, it is difficult to transport or set the apparatus, and also, in the case of using the display unit having a large-sized screen, not only the display unit, but also the balancer are increased in mass. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus includes: an arm that is made rotatable around the rotation center axis; a projector and a screen that are connected to the arm; an arm holding means for holding the arm; and a frictional means provided between the arm and the arm holding means. The sum of the torques around the rotational center axis of each of the arm, the projector and the screen is made equal to or below the stationary torque by the frictional means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
