BIOLOGICAL DEODORIZATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological deodorization apparatus capable of preventing a pressure drop of the biological deodorization apparatus from increasing and a treating capacity of biological deodorization from decreasing by easily discharging a solid matter accumulated in a water receiving tank out of the system.

SOLUTION: The biological deodorization apparatus comprising a carrier 2 supporting microorganisms which decompose a malodorous component or a VOC of an introduced treating gas A, a sprinkling means 5 for sprinkling water on the carrier 2, a water receiving tank 3 for receiving the water passing through the carrier 2 by sprinkling, and a water supplying means for supplying the water in the water receiving tank 3 to the sprinkling means 5 is provided with the bottom wall 31 of the water receiving tank slanting so as to deposit a sedimented solid matter C in the downmost part with a plurality of slanting plates 7 in the same direction as the bottom wall 31 in the water of the water receiving tank 3.
