<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information on the frequency of lightning strikes, which is counted on a condition adapted for a lightning strike observation condition designated by a user, to the user. <P>SOLUTION: This device 20 for providing the information on the frequency of lighting strikes is provided with: a lightning strike data acquiring part 200 for acquiring lightning strike data including at least the occurrence date and hour and occurrence position of lightning strike when lightning strike occurs; an observation condition acquiring part 204 for acquiring a lightning observation condition to be determination reference as to whether to count the frequency of lightning strikes from a user terminal 40 via a network 30, a count processing part 208 for counting the frequency of lightning strikes on the basis of the lightning strike data acquired by the lightning syrike data acquiring part 200 and the lightning strike observation condition acquired by the observation condition acquiring part 204; and an information transmission part for transmitting information showing the frequency of lightning strikes counted by the count processing part 208 to the user terminal 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
