PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant voltage circuit that can significantly reduce fluctuations in output voltage by increasing the response speed of output voltage with a low current consumption and without causing a cost increase due to a chip size increase and a test process increase. SOLUTION: When an output voltage Vout drops abruptly, an output voltage restoring circuit 6 recovers the dropped output voltage Vout instantaneously by discharging the capacitance of the gate electrode of an output transistor M1 to increase the current of the output transistor M1. The output voltage restoring circuit 6 does not operate in the absence of an abrupt drop in the output voltage Vout, and in a normal state does not influence the operation of a differential amplification circuit 11, a first amplification circuit 12 and the output transistor M1.
