PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock allowing a user to confirm mounting and screwed-in conditions of a plug easily. SOLUTION: This gas cock is constituted in such a way that a ball-shaped valve element 34 for communicating a flow-in passage 31a with a flow-out passage 31b is rotatably provided in a valve casing 31 having the flow-in passage 31a and the flow-out passage 31b, a pair of ball seats 32 for sealing the ball-shaped valve element 34 rotatably are provided between the flow-in passage 31a and the flow-out passage 31b, a hole part 42 communicating with a cavity part C between an outer peripheral face of the ball-shaped valve element 34 and an inner peripheral face of the valve casing 31 is provided in a protrudedly provided part 41 formed in the valve casing 31, the plug 43 for blocking the hole part 42 is mounted in the hole part 42, a distinguishing part 44 is formed at the outer periphery of the plug 43, and an inspection window 41a allowing the user to confirm the distinguishing part 44 of the plug 43 visually is formed in the protrudedly provided part 41 to facilitate confirmation of the mounting condition of the plug 43.
