PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage system improving the radiation performance of a hydrogen storage alloy. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage system is equipped with a hydrogen storage alloy container 1 containing the hydrogen storage alloy for absorbing or releasing hydrogen, a heating medium flow passage 1a in which a heating medium for heat exchanging with the hydrogen storage alloy flows, a force feeding means 3 for a force feeding the liquid heating medium to the hydrogen storage alloy container 1, and a cooling means for cooling and condensing the heating medium and supplying it to the force feeding means 3. The system is provided with an atomizing means 7 for atomizing the liquid heating medium in the heating medium flow passage 1a, which absorbs the heat in the hydrogen storage alloy by using latent heat upon the vaporization of the atomized heating medium.
