PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic member which is more improved in antifouling property and washability while maintaining the low friction properties and wear resistance of the surface in chromium plating, and particularly to provide a reeling member such as a spinning, a draw roller, a draw hot plate, a draw pin and a thread pasage regulation guide used for the production of synthetic fiber. SOLUTION: Regarding the metallic member, the surface of a metallic base material 1 is electroplated with a chromium compound, and a chromium plating layer 2 with a matte face having a surface roughness of 0.3 to 5μm by the arithmetic average roughness Ra according to JIS-B0601:2001 stipulation is included.
