PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-containing resin composition exhibiting sufficient thermal stability and coloration resistance even through compounding using no lead- or cadmium-based stabilizer owing to improving a stabilizing auxiliary. SOLUTION: A mixture obtained by melting, under heating, pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol and a pentaerythritol condensate in the form of a pentaerythritol oligomer except its dimer is provided, wherein the pentaerythritol plus dipentaerythritol content is 20-80 mass% and the pentaerythritol condensate content is 20-80 mass%, each based on the total amount of the mixture(wherein, the content of pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol plus pentaerythritol condensate totals 100 mass%).
