PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowing water detector which solves issues of conventional pre-operation sprinkler fire extinguishing facilities in which not only water loss is large in untimely sprinkling because water is kept flowing out, but also people are in a fluster because an alarm is kept sounding. SOLUTION: In sprinkler fire extinguishing facilities, valve bodies are opened when a fire detector is actuated or pressure in secondary piping is lowered and a predetermined time is elapsed, and valves are completely closed when the fire detector is not actuated even if pressure in the secondary piping is lowered. By setting a chamber with large cross section area and a chamber with small cross section area are set outside the main body of the flowing water detector, push rods to open/close valve bodies are adjusted by pressure difference loaded on respective pistons.
