PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily, quickly and accurately detecting pathogenic microorganisms in a number of specimens within a definite time in high sensitivity at a low cost. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a probe having a specific sequence and capable of detecting Chlamydia trachomatis, a method for detecting the target nucleic acid of a pathogenic microorganism by hybridization using the probe, a method for detecting a pathogenic microorganism using a chimera oligonucleotide primer containing a specific sequence and a kit for the method.
