PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of discharge of grass by making a cross section area of a mowed grass-discharging passage 42 large without enlarging the whole casing 1 of a rotary lawn mower A. SOLUTION: An electrically driven motor 16 is prevented from interfering with the mowed grass-discharging passage 42 and the cross section area of the mowed grass-discharging passage 42 is secured by forming the mowed grass-discharging passage 42 in the casing 1 of the rotary lawn mower A so that a passage wall forms a fan housing of a centrifugal fan by helically extending around a mowing blade shaft, and the electrically driven motor 16 arranged in the casing 1 at the rear side of the mowing blade shaft 32 is arranged by offsetting the motor 16 from the just rear position of the mowing blade shaft 32 to the side of the starting terminal part 42a of the mowed grass-discharging passage 42.
