A refrigerator is provided to hold a holding protrusion of an axial supporting element in a holding groove of an outer reinforcement element for limiting the rotation of the axial supporting element with respect to a door when opening or closing the door, thereby reducing friction noise of the door. A refrigerator includes a hinge shaft(42) mounted to a main body to be connected to a door. An axle joining hole(44) is formed in a door for joining the hinge shaft. Inner and outer reinforcement elements(45,46) are mounted to the door for reinforcing a peripheral portion of the axle joining hole. An axial supporting element(47) is advanced in the axle joining hole for supporting an outer surface of the hinge shaft. A holding element controls the rotation of the axle supporting element. The holding element has a holding protrusion(51) formed on the axle supporting element and a holding groove(52) formed on the outer reinforcement element. |
