<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cashless settlement to be performed without a medium and a user identification to be confirmed without fail while anonymity is held because some kinds of the medium such as a card, a cellular phone/a personal digital assistant are required to be carried around when the settlement other than the cash is performed in a store with conventional technology and there is a possibility of the medium to be lost or stolen. <P>SOLUTION: An identification terminal (101) is connected to a POS system (102) in the store where deposit and withdrawal and the settlement are performed, biometric information is read and converted in the settlement and a personal code is obtained.
