<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving method for electronic equipment moved in a used condition and not moved in an unused condition. <P>SOLUTION: The power saving method is provided with a process, in which an acceleration sensor 11 detects acceleration applied to electronic equipment, and a process, in which an acceleration detection circuit 12 inputs an output signal of the acceleration sensor 11 to determine whether it is above an interruption processing starting level or not and waveform shaping of an external interruption signal to a CPU 13 is carried out when it is determined that the output signal is above the interruption processing starting level. Acceleration detection interruption processing carried out by the CPU 13 when the external interruption signal is inputted sets an initial value of a timer starting time-out interruption processing to start counting of the timer. By the time-out interruption processing carried out when the electronic equipment is out of use and the timer is on time-out, a stop mode for stopping a clock of the CPU 13 and the like is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
