PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch device with increased strength in a handle cover. SOLUTION: The operation switch device A is provided with an appliance main body 1 with an individual switch 21 or a group of switches exposed on its front surface side. Furthermore, the appliance main body 1 is provided with a display hole to have light go through to a part facing a light emitting diode displaying an acting state of the illumination appliance corresponding to the group of switches. In addition, a handle main body 4 is attached to be freely revolved to the front surface side of the appliance main body 1 to push and operate the group of switches and a display hole is provided in a part corresponding to the display hole provided on the appliance main body 1. Moreover, the handle cover 5 is attached to be freely revolved to the front surface side of the handle main body 4, and a display hole is provided on a part corresponding to the display hole provided on the handle main body 4 as well as a recessed groove 44 with a display window 8 on the front surface.
