PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mock-up of a portable telephone set which eliminates a joining member for fixing a weight contained in the mock-up of the portable telephone set, reduces manufacturing cost, and simultaneously prevents decline of purchase volition of a purchase candidate. SOLUTION: The mock-up of the portable telephone set 100 is provided with a display plate 1 for dummy screen display, a case 3 to which a face of the display plate 1 is fixed to a holding unit 3a prepared on the front face, and the weight 2 for mass balance attached on a back face of the case 3. An aperture unit 3b is prepared which penetrates between the front face and the back face in a part of the holding unit 3a, the weight 2 is fixed to a face of the display plate 1 intervening the aperture unit 3b, and the weight 2 is fixed in the back face of the case 3.
