PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment comfortably fixing up the waist part of a wearer into narrowed state. SOLUTION: The garment is provided with upper and lower both side parts sandwiching a waist part, wherein the waist part covers an upper and lower 30-70 mm area sandwiching the waist line of the waist part, and a waist outside upper part and a waist outside lower part longitudinally extending from the waist part are formed of circular knitting fabric through which the waist part, a front body part and a back body part are continuously formed. The circular knitting fabric is continuously knitted in a longitudinal direction in the same knitting structure, and employs elastic yarns as knitting yarns. The waist part is knitted while the tensile power of the elastic yarns is controlled so as to form a high-power part having higher elasticity than that of the waist outside upper part and the waist outside lower part. The center area of the waist part is formed to be a highest power part having higher longitudinally elastic power than that of the upper and lower areas so as to make the waist narrow toward the center area of the waist part from the longitudinal direction to give the garment a waist trimming function.
