PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure for a vehicle body capable of certainly absorbing a collision load by a bumper reinforcement. SOLUTION: The bumper reinforcement 20 and a front side member 12 are connected through an impact absorption part 14, a wire 22 is laid along the front surface of the bumper reinforcement 20, and the wire 22 is connected to the front side member 12 behind the impact absorption part 14. Thereby, not only the strength of the bumper reinforcement 20 and strength generated by the tension of the wire 22 are applied, and the risk of the generation of the bending and folding of the bumper reinforcement 20 can be reduced. Further, since the collision load can be transmitted to the front side member 12 behind the impact absorption part 14, the collision load can be applied in the axial direction of the impact absorption part 14, and the collision load can be certainly absorbed by crushing the impact absorption part.
