PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rolls quickly and surely removing, squeezing and washing liquid on a washing object surface, over a long time, with suppressed facility investment cost. SOLUTION: The rolls remove, squeeze and wash liquid like moisture, oil, or chemical components adhering on washing object surfaces of steel plates, non-ferrous metal plates, resin plates or film-like surfaces. The rolls have roll parts and pedestals. The pedestals have body parts formed with the roll parts on the outer peripheries, a connection part A and a connection part B continued to both sides of the body parts. An opening is formed with an opening area varying from a small to a large area from the connection part A toward the connection part B so that the liquid passes through from the connection part A to the connection part B.
