In the case of a device for connecting two machine parts which bear against each other along a separating gap and are held together by retaining forces running transversely with respect to the separating gap, in particular a lower part (2), which is integrated in the machine frame (1), and an upper part (3), which can be placed thereon and can be connected thereto by tie rods (4), of a large motor, lateral forces arising during installation can be avoided in a simple manner and nevertheless loadings running transversely with respect to the retaining forces can be reliably transmitted by the fact that the mutually facing bearing surfaces (5, 6) of the machine parts bearing against each other only have regions running at right angles to the retaining forces and that said regions are assigned means which increase the mutual friction and have particles (12) which are embedded into a metallic support material, project on the surface and are composed of a harder material than the material present in the region of the bearing surfaces (5, 6). |
