The arrangement has a connecting part (112) comprising attaching surfaces (114, 116) that are arranged at an angle to one another and provided for attachment to corresponding contact surfaces at a crankcase (102) of an internal combustion engine. Fastening screws (118, 120) are arranged transverse to the attaching surfaces (114, 116), which are arranged parallel to an axis of an electrical starter (108). A through hole and a threaded hole are provided in the connection part and the crankcase, respectively for accommodating the fastening screws.
