A culvert construction method and a culvert structure constructed by the same are provided to prevent leakage of water by forming plural connection holes in a wall body of the culvert block and inserting tension members in the connection holes and grouting inside the connection holes and grout filling grooves. A pre-cast culvert block structure forming a culvert in ground includes plural connection holes(40) passing through a culvert block(10) in the length direction and including embosses formed inside thereof, a tapered groove formed at the inlet of the connection hole, projections formed outside the tapered groove for preventing the back up member from being pushed out by grouting pressure or leaking out, the back up member(31) inserted into the tapered groove, a grout filling groove formed on front and rear surfaces of the culvert block, a grout injection hole formed at the grout filling groove for grouting, a packing insertion groove formed front and rear surfaces of the culvert block, and a sealing packing(21) inserted into the packing insertion groove. |
