A conference call system and method using a broadcast reception terminal are provided to provide a convenience UI(User Interface) to users by using a TV by receiving callees who are to participate in a conference call through broadcast reception terminals. A broadcast reception terminal receives information regarding a callee who is to participate in a conference call from the user. A conference call server(204) requests a call setup by using phone numbers of the callee and a terminal of the user as reception phone numbers, establishes a channel corresponding to the call set up with the user terminal, allocates the channel to rooms selected from among a plurality of rooms, combines voice data received through the channels allocated to the rooms, and transmits the combined data to the callee and the user terminal. A broadcast system(203) receives the information regarding the callee from the broadcast reception terminal and transfers it to the conference call server(204).
