<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception characteristics of a data signal while suppressing PAPR by preventing a low-quality pilot signal from being mapped in one part of an occupied band of the data signal to improve the demodulation performance of the data signal, when the pilot signal and the data signal having different occupied bands are subjected to waveform shaping. <P>SOLUTION: The pilot signal is transmitted in a predetermined frequency band, and the data signal is transmitted in a partial band in the frequency band. At least the pilot signal and the data signal transmitted in the partial band are subjected to waveform shaping so as to each have the same shape in the frequency band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
