PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission capable of reducing a lubricating oil amount of a power transmission system in a specific speed stage and reducing loss horsepower, and securing a lubricating oil amount of the power transmission system during gear change in the specific speed stage. SOLUTION: The transmission has the power transmission system having a plurality of speed stages, and is equipped with a lubricating oil reduction mechanism 70 for reducing the oil amount of lubricating oil supplied to the power transmission system in a specific speed stage out of the plurality of speed stages. The transmission is equipped with a controller 41 for obtaining a speed change point vehicle speed regarding the specific speed stage based on a predetermined speed change map, and for operating the lubricating amount reduction mechanism 70 when a difference between the speed change point vehicle speed and the actual vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined first value.
