PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technical means by which the separation from a synthesized product, and the purification and reuse as a catalyst of a chiral compound as an organic basic catalyst can be carried out more simply and efficiently, and the high catalytic activities can be maintained. SOLUTION: The complex of an optically active imidazolidine compound fixed to a polymer and represented by formula (1) [wherein, Rais a hydrocarbon group which may have the same or different substituents; Rband Rcare each a hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent; Rdis Pol-R0- (Pol is a solid polymer; and R0is a hydrocarbon chain or an oxygen-containing hydrocarbon chain binding thereto)] is provided.
