PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling apparatus in which syringe bodies are arranged upright with spouts on top and fluid is filled through the spouts into the syringe bodies to prepare prefilled syringes to eliminate a need of post-insertion of pistons, and needlelike filling nozzles of the filling apparatus can be aligned highly precisely with the spouts of the syringe bodies arranged in succession. SOLUTION: The filling apparatus fills a fluid into the prefilled syringes 2, which has the syringe bodies 21 having the capillary spouts 22 formed integrally on their tips, and pistons 26 inserted in the syringe bodies 21. The filling apparatus includes a support member so supporting the syringe bodies 21 that the syringe bodies 21 are arranged upright with the spouts 22 on top, and a jig 4 put on the spouts 22. The jig 4 has a plurality of first openings 41 allowing the spouts 22 to be inserted therein at the lower surface side, and a plurality of taper second openings 43 tapering toward the inside of the jig 4 at the upper surface side.
