The conductor (1) has conductor wires (2a-2d) with an insulation (3), and an electrical circuit contacting with the conductor wires and fastened to the plastic base through hot stamping. The insulation is injection molded with a plastic base, and the electrical circuit is impressed on the plastic base. The plastic base is a component of housings surrounding the electrical circuit. A section (4) of one of the conductor wires is stripped and guided to an upper side of the plastic base. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing an electrical circuit to a flat strip conductor.
