Actual mean power limiting method for e.g. computer tomography device, involves multiplying actual power with weightage function that is time function and non-discrete function with functional values that are larger than zero

The method involves limiting a reference power and calculating a waiting time after a reference point of time and before an ending point of time for a reference operating duration so that a mean value does not exceed a maximum value in a time frame. An integral mean value of an actual power in the time frame is taken as the mean value. The actual power is multiplied with a weightage function. The weightage function is a time function and a non-discrete function with two functional values that are different from each other and are larger than zero. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a load computer with a program (2) a computer program for activating a process (3) a storage medium with a computer program in a main storage of a computer.
