A supporting flame, Fig. 1, for a plate 9 carrying electrical circuitry (not shown), comprises a member 1 fitted with a multi-terminal connector 6, and two parallel lateral members 2, 3, each having a groove 11 in which the plate 9 slides, and hooks 12, 13 pivotally mounted at 14, 15 in slots in the frame, the hooks being spring-urged into engagement with notches 16, 17 in the plate 9 to lock the latter in position with its contacts 10 coupled to terminals 7 in the connector 6, and each hook comprising a finger 18, 19 which effects withdrawal of the plate 9 when the hooks are rotated about their pivots by movement of ends 22, 23 of the hooks towards one another. Each lateral member 2, 3 comprises an apertured lug 26, Fig. 4, to enable a plurality of frames to be assembled together; in addition, each member 1 has sole-pieces 28 disposed at each end in opposite relation to assist in locating the frames.
