An engine torque detection means includes an angular velocity detection m eans (10) for detecting the rotation angular velocity of the crankshaft (11) of an engine. The engine torque detection means detects the variation of th e amplitude of the angular velocity detected by the angular velocity detecti on means (10) as the variation of the torque generated by the engine. The en gine corrects a fuel injection amount by comparing the amplitude of the angu lar velocity detected by the angular velocity detection means with a proper amplitude of angular velocity.
