<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of knowing the remainder of fuel with a simple configuration without visually recognizing the fuel. <P>SOLUTION: A float 4 is provided in a fuel tank 3 in the fuel cell 1. The float 4 is formed by a magnet 5, and an outer shell 6 made of resin for wrapping the magnet 5. A recess 2a is formed at the side of the fuel tank 3 in a casing 2, and a plurality of cylinders 8 made of resin are provided in parallel mutually in the recess 2a. The cylinders 8 are supported rotatably by the inner wall of the recess 2a. Then, the peripheral surface of the cylinders 8 is colored to four equal regions along the circumferential direction, and a green region, an orange region, a blue region, and an orange region are arranged in this order along the circumferential direction.
