<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for a fuel cell, a membrane-electrode assembly for the fuel cell including the same and a fuel cell system including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cathode catalyst for a fuel cell includes a carrier composed of at least one chalcogen element selected from a group consisting of S, Se, Te, and combinations thereof and an A-B alloy supported on the carrier, where A is at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Pd, Ir, Rh, and combinations thereof, and B is at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Mo, W, and combinations thereof. With excellent activeness and selectivity for reduction reaction of oxidant, the cathode catalyst for the fuel cell of this invention has a strong point that it improves capacity of the membrane-electrode assembly for the fuel cell and the fuel cell system including the cathode catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
