PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable report a different most suitable route when the most suitable route is further extracted from among sections that have not been searched. SOLUTION: The system comprises a route history storing means 58 for storing each migration route between a start point and an arrival point when moving from an arbitrary point to an arrival point without searching routes, and a point extracting means 59 for extracting a start point and an arrival point from among migration routes stored in the route history storing means 58. When the indication for searching comparison routes is provided from a comparison route search indicating means 62, the extracting means 59 extracts a start point and an arrival point from the route history stored in the storing means 58; a route searching means 52 a most suitable route between a start point and an arrival point extracted by referring to map data, as a guide route; a route comparing means 60 report the guide route when the guide route is compared with a corresponding route history and then the guide route is more advantageous than the route history.
