A passive matrix type organic light emitting display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to remove an additional process for forming an external light absorbing unit by absorbing the external light at a separator. A passive matrix type organic light emitting display device includes a substrate(10), a first electrode(20), an insulation film(30), a separator(40), an organic light emitting layer(50) and a second electrode(60). The first electrode is formed to have a stripe pattern on the substrate. The insulation film exposes a light emitting region of the first electrode. The separator is stacked on the insulation film in a perpendicular direction to the first electrode. The organic light emitting layer is stacked an inter-space of the separator in a perpendicular direction to the first electrode. The second electrode is stacked on the light emitting layer. The separator has an overhang structure and is composed of a photosensitive material having a black pigment. |
