AIR CONDITIONER USING OF THE SUBTERRANEAN HEAT

An air conditioner using subterranean heat is provided to exchange heat between a refrigerant and water using subterranean heat of a subterranean heat exchanger to improve coefficient of performance and energy efficiency rate, thereby improving air conditioning performance. A plurality of indoor units condition air of an indoor space. A plurality of outdoor units are connected with the plurality of indoor units by a plurality of pipes, having outdoor heat exchangers(140) for exchanging heat and compressors(120,120') for compressing a refrigerant. A subterranean heat exchanger is connected with the outdoor heat exchangers of the outdoor units and is buried in the ground for exchanging heat between subterranean heat and a circulating medium circulating through the inside. Auxiliary heat sources are installed at one side of the outdoor unit for assisting heat exchange of the outdoor heat exchanger.
