A lubricating pinion gear (1) has external teeth (7), into which a lubricant outlet (8) flows. The external teeth have a shortened tooth flange profile compared to involute gear teeth. Head height and/or width of the tooth flange (6) are reduced in a peripheral direction in a tooth flange section radially arranged outside a reference circle. An independent claim is also included for a set of gears with a gearwheel. |
