An apparatus for preventing damage to a rudder of a ship is provided to prevent bubbles of high pressure from damaging the surface of a rudder plate by injecting compressed air toward the tip end of the rudder. An apparatus for preventing damage to a rudder of a ship includes an air compressor, a discharge pipe(20), and a guide unit(30). The air compressor is provided in the ship to generate compressed air. One end of the discharge pipe extends to the outside of the ship to flow the compressed air generated in the air compressor and the other end thereof is attached to the tip end of a rudder plate. The guide unit is adapted to inject the compressed air supplied through the discharge pipe to the outside of the rudder plate and offsets the compressed air by colliding with the bubbles of high pressure moving to the tip end of the rudder plate. |
