Cosmetic preparation (A) comprises a titanium dioxide pigment; thickner system from polymer thickening agent, which is transversely crosslinked; and 2-phenylbenzimidazol-5-sulfonic acid and/or its sodium, potassium or triethanol amine salts (where the ratio of titanium dioxide pigment to 2-phenylbenzimidazol-5-sulfonic acid and or its sodium, potassium or triethanolamine salt is 1:1.2 to 1.2:1).
