<p>A surface renewable iridium oxide composite hydrogen ion electrodes and a preparing method thereof are provided to produce an electrode with high physical rigidity by using glass or ceramic material. A preparing method of a surface renewable iridium oxide composite hydrogen ion electrodes includes the steps of: forming inactive conductive material on the surface of fine glass powder, ceramic or ceramic precursor which are capable of being sintered at high temperature; dispersing the fine glass powder, ceramic or ceramic precursor in solution including iridium compound; coating the iridium compound by evaporating or drying the solution; preparing glass, ceramic, or ceramic precursor powder including conductive metal/iridium oxide or iridium oxide by thermal-decomposing the coated compound under a sintering temperature; forming the glass, ceramic, or ceramic precursor powder including conductive metal/iridium oxide or iridium oxide; and compressing and sintering the glass, ceramic or ceramic precursor powder at a high temperature above the sintering temperature.</p> |
