A polarizing plate and an image display including the same are provided to achieve compactness with high hardness and good polarization characteristics. A polarizing plate(10) contains a polarizer(1) and a photo-curing resin layer(2,3). The photo-curing resin layer is directly formed on at least one side of the polarizer. The photo-curing resin layer is formed from a solvent-free photo-curing composite containing at least one of a polyfunctional acrylic monomer and a polyfunctional metacrylic monomer, a photo-curing prepolymer and a photopolymer initiator. |
