The computer installation is designed to occupying a small space in a road vehicle. It has a first store (11) which contains a start region (20) and several program code blocks (22-24). An address storage field (31) in the second data store (12) with a Flash-ROM is connected (21) to the start region of the first store. Storage address signals (33-36) are sent to the first store. The second store includes several further address storage fields (32,34,37).
