<p>A toner cartridge (501) provided in an image forming apparatus (1) in a removable manner for supplying toner to the image forming apparatus (1), said cartridge comprises a toner cartridge main body (501a) which contains the toner, a discharging opening (501z) for supplying the toner contained in the toner cartridge main body (501a) to the image forming apparatus (1) and a shutter (501h) which opens the discharging opening (501z) when the toner cartridge main body (501a) is inserted in the image forming apparatus (1) and for closes the discharging opening (501z) when the toner cartridge main body (501a) is removed from the image forming apparatus (1), wherein the shutter (501h) has a concave part (903) formed therein for engaging with a holding member (801) which holds the shutter (501h) provided in the image forming apparatus (1) to open and close the discharging opening (501z) when the toner cartridge main body (501a) is inserted in or removed from the image forming apparatus (1) .</p> |
