LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND PORTABLE COMPUTER HAVING THE SAME

A liquid crystal display device and a portable computer having the same are provided to minimize interference between a first and second liquid crystal modules by forming a supporting protrusion. A first liquid crystal module(20) is protected by using a first cover(10). The first liquid crystal module has a first display part(25) in a first cover direction. A second liquid crystal module(70) is disposed opposite to the first liquid crystal module. The second liquid crystal module has a second display part(75). A second cover(60) has a gradually reducing shape from a coupling region of the second liquid crystal module to an edge direction. A supporting protrusion(80) is formed in a vertical direction of the second cover. The second liquid crystal module is coupled with the supporting protrusion. A main frame(50) is formed between the first and the second liquid crystal module to support the first liquid crystal module and to maintain the shape of the first liquid crystal module.
