<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system suitable for attaining improvement in the efficiency of a job by surely continuing processing using shared information even when any abnormality occurs in the system. SOLUTION: When a gift exchange processor 100 is normal, the gift exchange processor 100 becomes a server device, and at the gift exchange processor 100, based on update information from respective gift exchange processors 110 and 120, the information to be shared among all the first exchange processors 100-120 is updated and held in the respective gift exchange processors 110-120. When any abnormality occurs at the gift exchange processor 100, the gift exchange processor 110 becomes the server device and at the gift exchange processor 110, based on its own held shared information, the update of the shared information is started.</p> |
