PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain optimal interpolation result by allowing an interpolation processing selecting means to select interpolation processing, capable of obtaining the optimal interpolating result corresponding to the varying degree of pixels evaluated by a pixel-varying degree evaluation means based on the varying degree to make a pixel interpolating mean execute interpolation, so as to realize interpolation processing without wastefulness. SOLUTION: An image data obtaining means C1 obtains image data, and the pixel interpolating means C2 executes plural interpolation processings corresponding to the varying degree of the pixel as interpolation processing, and the pixel-varying degree evaluation means C3 evaluates the varying degree of each pixel, based on this image data. Then, the interpolation processing selecting means 4 selects an interpolation processing which is capable of obtaining the optimal interpolating result corresponding to the varying degree of the pixel evaluated like this and makes the pixel interpolating means C2 execute interpolation. |
