The conveyor has multiple plates (1) that are connected with each other in a flexible manner, where each plate exhibits two longitudinal regions (2, 4) that are extended in a longitudinal direction of respective longitudinal edges (3, 5) and are formed transverse to the longitudinal edges in a curved manner. The plates are arranged such that the longitudinal region (2) of one plate overlaps the longitudinal region (4) of the adjacent plate. The curved longitudinal regions are formed such that two adjacent plates are swivelable in opposite direction.
