A memory module and a memory system comprising the same are provided to simplify an interface structure by installing interface devices instead of installing the interface devices in memory devices. A memory module includes a plurality of memory groups for receiving packet commands and generating read data. Each of the memory groups includes an interface unit(IF) and two or more first memories(m1,m2). The interface unit generates a command signal and an address according to a packet command, generates write data included in the packet command in a write operation, transmits the write data to write/read data lines, receives read data to be transmitted to the write/read data lines in a read operation, and transmits the read data through the read data lines. The two or more first memories(m1,m2) receive the command signal and the address, receives the write data in the write operation, and transmits the read data to the write/read data lines in the read operation.
