A transmission device and a transmission method are provided to enable a user to control execution of a command or to input a short message by gestures while the user is under shaking and noisy environment or while a user is moving at high speed or in a car. A handwritten script input unit(10) has a handwritten screen(101) for inputting handwritten scripts or handwritten patterns. A processing unit(11) converts the handwritten scripts into character patterns, reduces the character patterns into micro patterns or converts the handwritten patterns into commands. An execution unit(12) transmits the micro patterns to an external receiving end, or executes a corresponding program according to the commands.
